Finger Paint and Crostini

Ava turned 3 back in June and ever since then, I have been wanting to take her outside and do a 3 year old photo shoot with her. I am a little late in getting this done but better late than never. Today, I stepped outside after dinner and noticed that it was that perfect time of day for picture taking, where the position of the sun made things glow. I grabbed my camera, brushed Ava's hair and ran outside with her.  We had a great time. She even chimed in with ideas for poses!

Ava Hope is a thinker. She is quiet and talks quiet. When she opens her mouth to speak, it is either profound or something hilarious that she conveys in an ever so serious way. She is crazy about music. She is my budding violinist. She cares deeply for others "ouchies" and wants to do anything she possibly can to make them better. She asks a lot of questions and thinks a lot in between each answer. I love to watch the wheels turn in her head. She is an amazing big sister with more love to give than her little sister sometimes wants. I love my Ava Hope and thank God for giving her to me 3 years ago..

Hey! It's me again. Who remembers that recipe blog I had called "One Handed Cook"? Well, that was back in the day when I had two babies on my hips and was laughing and crying my way through life as a mother to a toddler and two babies (14 months apart). Now, I can't say that life is the same even though it is still crazy! This blog is going to be a little of everything I love. Cooking, Homeschooling, Crafting, Hair, Jesus, Marriage, Saving Money, etc. (in no particular order) I like fine things and I like messy things. Hence the name, Finger Paint and Crostini. I am by no means an expert at any of these things but I invite you to join me in my journey as I laugh my way through life with sticky little finger painted hands and also some of the finer things of life. (like sticky little finger painted hands!)
